Been enjoying the last three months off school - finally got the results recently - and I'm through to the next year - woohoo!

Mum & Dad were here for a whirlwind couple of weeks in February. They kept themselves entertained around San Diego while Pamela and I went to work - it was nice to get home and find a hot dinner waiting for you every night! We managed a couple of fun weekends too. One weekend we headed to LA, to meet up with our old neighbours - and one of my Mums nursing friends that she hadnt seen in something like 27 years. In an amazing quirk of coincidence - these two sets of friends lived less than 3 miles apart from each other! What are the chances of that in LA? While we were in LA we visited the John Paul Getty Museum - which is an incredible museum architecturally and for the amazing view. We spent our Sunday cruising through some of the sites in the city. I'll try and get some pics of our adventures up on the site soon...

The following weekend we finally got the lads together for the one missing part of the stag party - the fishing trip! This time conditions were perfect and the whole experience was a blast. I had no idea that seals were such scavengers... they would (cleverly) swipe the live bait right off your hook, without touching the hook...

Other news... we've adopted another cat. He's a stray that hangs out by the window to bug the other cats - he's very very talkative and fluffy - so his name is something creative like Fluffy or Chatty... we havent decided yet... Other news... we bought a rug (which shouldnt be such an event - but believe it or not we've been looking for months)...

Welcome to the newly designed busybrit.com - let us know what you think!

So whats been going on you ask? Too much - we'll say... Pamela sailed through her Real Estate exams earlier this year and I've been nose deep in books all year doing an MBA from Warwick Uni (UK). The whole year of studying came down to 5 days of exams... and I'll find out in February how I did (fingers crossed!)

With studies over... a long list of "honey do" items has built up We've been painting, putting up crown molding (cornicing I think the Brits call it)... and I've been catching up on my "fair share" of cooking and cleaning...

We've been having fun too, with more house hunting, hiking in Anza Borrego, a 24 hour fleeting visit from my folks (the cruise was more exciting than we were apparently... just kidding, they'll be seeing us on their return) and we've been hitting the gym (well... strictly speaking I was strong armed into it and have found it difficult to move ever since)

Anyway - with this new site, we should be able to keep it up to date a little easier, so with any luck the updates will come in a little more frequently!! Stay posted!
